PRODUCT DESIGN CASE STUDY

Bizinc

Bizinc project overview

MY ROLE · Marketplace UX/UI, Business Profile 2.0 and design leadership

Bizinc

I worked on the customer journeys and business tools at Bizinc, progressing from UI/UX intern to UI/UX Manager. The main design challenge was keeping the public business profile useful while giving its owner the controls behind it.

01What I wanted to solve

A customer wants to decide whether a business fits their need. Its owner needs to manage identity, services and offers. I mapped those journeys separately, then brought them together in Business Profile 2.0.

02The decisions that mattered

Give each audience the right view.

I separated Business View from Client View so management tasks did not become customer navigation.

Help people compare before opening a profile.

I added service descriptions, proximity and open-now signals to discovery cards.

Connect the design to the build.

I documented components, responsive behaviour and interaction states for the developers implementing the interface.

The screens below show how those decisions came together.

Design artifact · The personalised profile brings identity, verification, listings and promotion tools together. The owner controls the content; the client sees the public business.

Source artifact · Sign-up, business-owner and client flows, site map, and grouped mobile screens.

Proposed interaction · These screens illustrate the intended path. A confirmation drawn in a prototype is not evidence of a working booking integration.

04What I can show, and what I would test

Bizinc is live, and the CEO reference documents my interface rebuild and progression to manager. Reported product metrics do not isolate design’s contribution. The map and AI booking flow are proposals; I would test their relevance and real availability before claiming an outcome.
