I design clearer experiencesfor complex digital products.
Product Designer specialising in fintech, SaaS and AI products.
I’m Abdulfatai Jamiu. I work across multi-market fintech, marketplace platforms, AI product operations and digital healthcare — research through to shipped interface. I turn complex workflows into products people can understand, trust, and use.

The first 30 days in the UK, in the right order: turning a new international student's arrival admin into a dependency-aware checklist.
A live project written up as it happens. Started 12 Sept 2026; the research runs alongside my own first month in Brighton.

Beyondthe pixels
At Bizinc and Kremor AI I led the product design and the research — deciding what to build and in what order, not only how it should look.
Product strategy across teams
At Bizinc I set the design direction with the founding team and held it across booking, e-commerce and SaaS surfaces that different people were building at the same time. At Kremor AI I shaped the direction across three connected surfaces — storefront, AI workspace and operations platform — so they read as one product rather than three.
Bizinc · Kremor AI →Prioritisation and roadmap decisions
I decided what got designed and in what order: which surfaces shipped first, what was deferred, and what was cut. At Bizinc that ran from the Business Profile 2.0 requirements through a file versioned v1.2 → v2.0 → development-ready. At Kremor AI it meant sequencing the operational roles against what the build could actually support.
Bizinc · Kremor AI →Leading and mentoring designers
I finished at Bizinc as UI/UX Manager, leading the junior design team — UI designers, UX designers, graphic designers and interns — and I led the design team at Kremor AI on the same terms. That meant assigning the work, reviewing it, setting the component standards everyone designed against, and being the person accountable for what shipped. Bizinc's CEO has written this down; the letter is on the credentials page.
Reference letter, Bizinc CEO →Owning research, not just design
I led the research as well as the design on both engagements: framing the problem, mapping the journeys, and — at Kremor AI — evaluating the AI itself across 96+ complex interaction tasks, so design decisions about confidence and human review were grounded in how the model actually behaved.
Kremor AI →Sustained post-launch measurement
I stayed with Bizinc after the redesign shipped and kept working against what the business tracked — activation, customer-to-customer activity, profile creation and retention. The numbers on this site come from that period, not from a launch-week snapshot.
Bizinc, 2024 — 2026 →Influencing senior stakeholders
I worked directly with Bizinc's CEO and founding team and with Kremor AI's founder: presenting direction, defending decisions that were argued with, and translating business goals into a scope a small team could actually build.

From problemto shipped
The same eight steps run through every project on this site, from a four-market banking app to a single reporting dashboard.
- 01
Frame the real problem
Before anything is drawn, what is actually going wrong and for whom.
- 02
Map users, roles and constraints
Who acts, what they are allowed to do, and what the business and regulator require.
- 03
Explore multiple directions
More than one answer, held against each other rather than defended.
- 04
Prototype the riskiest assumption
Build the part most likely to be wrong first, not the part easiest to draw.
- 05
Test clarity and usability
Whether people understand it, not whether they like it.
- 06
Build reusable systems
Components, variants and tokens, so the tenth screen costs less than the first.
- 07
Collaborate closely with engineering
Handoff specs, front-end review, and design decisions that survive implementation.
- 08
Measure what changed
And say plainly which numbers are mine and which belong to the business.

What I bring
Complex workflows
Multi-step, multi-role journeys where the hard part is structure, not surface: approval chains, operational dashboards, and products where getting the order of steps wrong is the whole failure.
Fintech & trust
Money moving between people, currencies, entities and regulators. Disclosure before commitment, constraints surfaced early, and interfaces that stay clear without making risk feel smaller than it is.
AI product design
Generative and agent-based products where the design problem is calibrated trust: confidence signals, human review checkpoints, and scaffolding for people who cannot yet describe what they want.
Multi-role & multi-market
Permissions matrices, role-based operations, audit trails, and one design system holding across four subsidiaries with different languages, currencies and regulatory copy.
Research to design
Interviews, personas, journey mapping and usability testing translated into structural decisions — and stated honestly when a project was product-design-led rather than research-led.
Design systems & handoff
Auto Layout, components, variants and tokens; versioned files with a development-ready page; written handoff documentation so the build matches the design. The sheets themselves are on the design systems page.
