Horal

Horal made me think hard about trust. A buyer needs to feel safe sending money, and a seller needs the tools to do their job. I worked on both sides.

MY ROLE · End-to-end mobile and web product design

Horal

I designed Horal’s buyer and seller experiences together. My focus was the uncertainty around buying from someone you have never met, and the tools sellers need to keep that transaction moving.

01What I wanted to solve

For a buyer, finding a product is only the start. They also need to trust the store, understand payment protection and know what happens after checkout. I worked across discovery, checkout, escrow and the seller operations behind each order.

02The decisions that mattered

Make trust visible.

I brought verification into the shopping experience so it could help someone judge a store before paying.

Explain what happens to the payment.

I treated escrow as a sequence of states, from protected payment through delivery confirmation to released funds.

Keep both sides connected.

I designed inventory, orders, chat and earnings around the same transaction lifecycle as the buyer journey.

The screens below show how those decisions came together.

04What I can show, and what I would test

Evidence available. Horal is live on the web, iOS and Android. The linked product listings document the marketplace capabilities shown here.

Next validation. I would test whether first-time buyers understand when escrow protects their payment and when the funds are released.
